BASIC allows users to load, scale, rotate, and view cross-sectional images of normal cardiac anatomy, including chambers, valves, major vessels, and simulated blood flow. BASIC also provides views corresponding to standard diagnostic imaging used in cardiac catheterization and 2D echocardiography.

BASIC supports 2D, 3D, and time-based (4D) functional viewing modes and are suitable for online, hybrid, and face-to-face cardiology-focused instruction across nursing, PA studies, and exercise science programs.
